Intriguing !!!
Don't know if this helps or hinders ... 2001 3.2 Elite Saloon. New rear shockers 7000 miles ago. Engine running, self levelling pump "finished" its business ...
Measured at the wheel arch vertically through the centre of the wheel.
F N/S = 675 mm
F O/S = 665 mm
R N/S = 675 mm
R O/S = 685 mm
Now those figures look very like your original figures ...... so what makes you think it's sitting "high" ??

Reply to Entwood: Re measured my ground to wheelarch sizes again today just to make sure. from ground vertically through centre of wheel as follows
N/s front 660mm
O/s front 660mm
N/s rear 690mm
O/s rear 690mm
just waiting for MV6 all round sizes to be confirmed by Oof member
Will post up when I have them

Right then results of the MV6 measure up ! 8-) 8-)
Ground to Wheelarch vertically through wheel center on his own MV6 has been confirmed by Darth-Loo-Knee as: 670mm all round
My car just looks wrong the rear height being 690mm in comparison to the front (660mm) .
It does not sound like much but it looks quite "ugly" to me.
Gonna try & get a set of rear MV6 springs & try them.
Thanks all for putting up with this long drawn out issue & all of your good input in the replies.
But I think we may have the answer now . . . . .
Wrong rear springs

Thanks All Big Al :
