autobox version code (ECU)
« on: 29 March 2011, 23:40:27 »

hi, i have an autobox problem. 2.2 CD, 51 plate that sticks in first gear randomly, which im having the ATF and filter replaced on thursday this week. the TEC 11 says i have an AR25/35 box with ecu version code 0003 and an identifier code of 511.
is this the latest version? and where in or near sheffield can i get it updated, if required? have been told its a dealer only update. "Pentagon"  :'(

Though I doubt its a software fault, so I wouldn't pay to have the software updated in the hope it will magically fix the problem...
