Local Vauxhall dealer (Phoenix) are saying they only use one fluid now which is Dex VI. Is this ok to use? If not, where do you get your Dex II from?
Thanks,
Mike.

Considering DEX III was the spec, but was downgraded cos of problems and leaks caused.  I would not use anything but dex II

Dealers will happily sell you what they have regardless, and at ott prices.

Dex2 from anywhere except dealers. :y

It seems GM have superseeded DEX2 & 3 to Dex 6 but as said any good factor will be able to supply DEX2.

well technically....dex 3 caused an issue....dex 6 MAY be fine....but £1 to 1p they havent tested it in an omega to know if it will cause a leak or not.  and given the age they prob wont get any complaints
