Quick EML question

Hi All
have just fitted new coil pack and solved the misfire.
Yes she runs lovely and smooth again.
Question is the eml is still on did i read somewhere that this should reset after x number of starts ?
and how many starts to clear?

Depends on the codes. I notice that trim codes don't clear when fault is cleared on DBW engines...

The codes were 0300 and 0306 so random misfire and misfire cyl6

Not suprised when i saw the condition of the coil pack TBH

Ok codes now showing
0300
0306
0120
0220
the last 2 are down to forgetting to re connect the throttle motor multi plug (i know silly error)

however the EML light is now going out so all good
but how long will the codes be stored in the memory?

Light out = good :y

Drive it around for a couple of weeks, then check again :y
