A little help needed please
« on: 23 April 2011, 20:42:17 »

Changed on Omega in last 2 weeks

Front strut and hub/ abs sensor on o/s
Both track rod ends
Both anti roll bar links.
Crank shaft sensor
Fuse blew on radio and code is wrong.

Now aircon not working, have power to pressure switches via relay.
No voltage on compressor clutch, and could not locate feed from pressure switches to compressor to determine if a break in feed cable.
The compressor cables are brown and black/white have tried continuity to 2 x black/white and brown on pressure switches and  no signal.
Want to check compressor clutch manaually so is brown +12 or is black/white +12.

As have run out of cash I hope its an easy fix?

Could someone point me in the right direction.

Thanks

If the system has little or no gas in, the compressor wont work.
Worth getting it checked for leaks and gas level. :y

I agree but if compressor or pressure switches are faulty then I would be wasting £30 plus £30 plus any parts needed to repair.
Also need radio recoded.
Can these be tested?
Thanks
