Suspension

Right......

As most of us know Vauxhall's are not the best at going round corners  ;D

So the question is

is it worth upgrading mine to MV6 spec or is it better to search further and use a better set up as the elite is more like a boat..... ok it's nice over the bumps and lumps but through the corners it's more like a lump of jelly which for you die hard Omega owners is fine but i like it to be more firmer for day to day use  :y

Depends on your preference, lowered sport chassis on the mv6 is a good start for Elite drivers wanting to crack on a bit. It can work with self leveling as is, saving on rear shocks. But you will notice further improvements if sl is removed if you don't tow or carry heavy loads regularly.

Bilstein b4 shocks and irmscher springs on mine all round currently. But stienmetz springs are still in production I believe. Gives further firmer improvement IMO.

Purely depends on taste, firmer is not for everyone, some such as yourself find Elite suspension far too wobbly.

Depends which Vauxhall. If you buy a large comfy exec saloon you can't expect it to corner like a VX220 ........ Oh look! A Vauxhall that goes around corners.  ;) ;) ;)

Lol mate.. and your right but Vauxhalls are poor in that department and front wheel drive.......... ouch torque steer here we come  :y

Sorry mate but im used to a firm ride from my RS days

Dont get me wrong though the Omega is a lovely car but improvements are there to be made and i'm sure i can get round the niggles i have

As in a straight line it's a very quick car considering it's 10 years old and the fuel consumption is not that bad :y
