code issue
« on: 05 May 2011, 11:04:17 »

Looked at another mig yesterday, it had a few codes in it but the one that is getting me is 0650, Malfunction indicator (Ml)control circuit high/low/open instrument. The other two were the normal 0430 and 0420 and we know what they are. but what does 0650 mean :question

Malfunction indicator is the engine management light. It has detected that it is open or short circuit at some point.

Do both the engine management light (car with spanner) and emissions light (picture of engine) light up when you turn on the ignition?

Could be someone has removed the bulb to hide the 0420 and 0430?
