Car cutting out
« on: 17 May 2011, 17:35:13 »

Hi I have a 3.0 elite (96).
When the car is hot and I press the accelerator it cuts out, it will then turn over but not start ( sounds like no fuel). Also the orange light on dash comes on,

Can anyone help please? :-/

About £40-50 to buy from VX (use genuine only). Click on the red link in my 1st post for the fault code and click this one for replacing sensor

Rectify the fault and all will be well. A word to the wise, if you get a code 19 change it as soon as otherwise it will give up for good and sods law dictates you will be somewhere in the back of beyond late at night
