Code P0140
« on: 21 May 2011, 21:53:52 »

Hi All, my eml light came on this morning on the way home from work, but didn't have a look till tonight as sleep was needed. Well its showing the usual P0304 cylinder 4 misfire detected and a new one the P0140.....any ideas what the P0140 is and what may cause it?

Any help or advise would be gratefully appreciated...

P0140 Oxygen sensor (O2S) 2, bank 1 - no activity detected

I believe this code is listed as one for the 2.0ltr Omega engine and relates to the sensor after the cat, and would point to either a wiring fault or fubared sensor but don't quote me on it!  ;D :y

Thanks, probably a silly question, but what might cause that to show up? a faulty sensor or something else...
