98 gls cloth seats to 96 elite leather

help needed before i get stuck in the back seat trying to reach, will my gls have the correct wiring for the 96 leather lecky seats or have taken on a challenge thanks jonny
sorry should ve been in electrics section !!

If you are trying to put 96 seats in a 98 car then you will have problems with the 96 seats not having airbags (insurance issue ?)

Also the seat bases are different in the seat belt tensioners, this is not a problem as the seat base frames can be changed. Maybe different if Elite seats as they have many more motors etc.

I think wiring will not be there, but there is some very usefull seat wiring in the maintenance guides.
