gearbox mounts
« on: 28 May 2011, 12:52:40 »

I dont seem to be able to post in the trading section, but i'm in need of a manual gearbox mounting and wondering if anyone has one up for grabs?

while i'm talking about gearboxes, can anyone tell me what the deal is with the electronic speedo.....  the gearbox I have got has a cable speedo.  is there something that just plugs into the cable hole, or is it a case of needing a whole new raer casing for the gearbox?  If so anyone got one of them for grabs haha.

speedos is quite simple - all Omega B's have a speedo signal generated by the ABS. There is no gearbox-based signal at all.

if your box has a speed signal generator, then it's probably from an Omega A (or Carlton as we know it over here)

250 posts minimum to post in the for sale and wanted but this is a precaution against dodgy sellers rather than newbie buyers.  So post your wanted ad in the Test Zone and an admin will move it to the trading section.

Yeah thegearbox is off my carlonator carlton/senator hybrid. The dreaded tin worm has totally destryed it so its being broken. So i dont need to worry about the speedo at all. Thats good news. Just have to worry bout gearbox mounts. Cheers for that
