lol had mine running at 2.9 bar at one time but it was too much!!!just spun its wheels,
old one is currently running 2.2/3 according to tech 1,
as you have done this before you will know that very small adjustments are very necessary, too much wil spike it and damage will occur very easily, it does help with the smoke issue with the big chip, as it burns more of the fuel, at least in my experience!!
however when you adjust the wastegate, it will only give you extra boost till the wastegate catches up if you see what i mean? however you will see a temperature rise from the extra heat the turbo is producing, and it will also heat the incoming charge up more so wiring the intercooler fan to a switch really helps here, but it can be quite worrying to see the temp guage rise!! mine never went over 98 even up hill towing a trailer but it did have a new rad at the time, been like it for around 50k and no issues apart from that

oh and of course you use more fuel for the first couple of months as you cant get off the grin pedal so easily!!!
