Ah thanks, that makes sense. :y I still have my '98 MV6 (needs a little work, but could be for sale cheap). Would it be wise to swop in the powersounder from that to get it all working again, or just remove the powersounder from my current MV6 (currently just disconnected) in case of fire?

the guy i got my 2.5 v6 off took the alarm off he was told it will be safer because off fire risk
