Rear Shock Absorbers
« on: 31 May 2011, 16:04:31 »

Hi All,
Can anyone tell me if the MV6 rear shocks are different to the other saloons (not self levelling)?
Are they available from motor factors or just dealers,
What sort of money are they likely to be?
Thanks.

Just been quoted £120 each + VAT by Vx dealer!
I've tried to find non genuine but most makes only list one type for all saloons. How much difference is there.

if they are lower and stiffer than standard bilstein probably still do them but maybe the ones for the estate are what you want as these are defiately lower and stiffer! i know after buying saloon ones and they were too soft and about 4 inches longer than the ones for the estate but i'm geussing the bilsteins will do the job as they took the 30mil drop on mine o.k which is what the mv6 has iirc.
