The title says it all but here is the long version:
For about 3-4 weeks the car, a Omega 2.5 V6 -99 preface lift, just didn't start.
After a couple of days, without anything changed, check or tried I did try to start it again and it started right away.
A week passed then it did the same again, meaning it didn't start again. Since then, it haven't started again.
First of all I thought it was the fuel pump since the fuel hose at the motor didn't hold any fuel when I unscrewed it.
After removing the fuel pump I tried to run it to an jump starter which made it run like it was supposed to.
Then I check the fuel pump relay and it doesn't close. But when i force the tongue of it to close the pump starts working.
I check the voltage to the pump which always gives 9 volts [should it not be 12?].
After that I checked the OBD-II contact [does my Omega have OBD 2 or GM's homemade OBD 1.5?, checked wiki for that] with the paper clip-method and it gives the code 19 which is the crank sensor.
My real question is:
Can a busted crank sensor make this havoc?
Can anything else be wrong?
Any advice is worth taking into consideration!
