Possible Elite wheel swap
« on: 19 June 2011, 11:34:55 »

Hi should be picking up an elite next weekend. Would anyone want to swap the wheels its got (late elite spoke type) for the earlier ones?

If this is not allowed then apologies

Where abouts are you based?

So you want the 16" Elite 'soft' 5 spokes in exchange for the 17" big flat 5's? Id be interested :)

Interesting thread to me. Does this swap pose any problems either way? I prefer the older soft Elite wheels, 225/55/16 on my TD Estate to the flat spoked, 235/45/17's on my 'new' F/L Elite saloon, and was thinking of swapping them over. I'm sure there has been discussion on here about the effect of different wheel sizes, but old age prevents me remembering the different issues involved. :-/

Suspect the op wants to swap the late 17 inch style for the earlier 17 inch style as opposed to facelift / minifacelift swap.

locking as against guidelines to trade with under 250 posts, will delete later
