Climate Control Has Died, Advice needed please?
« on: 06 June 2011, 22:51:29 »

My climate control displlay all works, When you press all the buttons everything on the display appears and dissapears as it should but I get NOTHING from the vents.

It was working perfectly the other day apart from my aircon that needs re-gassing.

Any Idea's pllease?  :( ::) :'(

First check the fuse, if this is not the case then the problem is either the fan motor or, in my case the switch rheostat....... :)

Someone more experienced will come along and advise if I have got this right... :y

If it`s the fan speed controller (hedgehog) you`ll need one of these ;)http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1304372324

Friday came and I ended up at the doctors having to get more medication due to lifelong physical disabilities, So am REALLY ANNOYED at myself for not getting this done and am still feeling bad now, Tomorrow I am heading over to my friends house who is fitting my passenger side steering idler for me and I might ask nicely if he can help me fit this heater module too.

I got 1 big question left and am a bit worried about this. My mum brought the part over as she bought it and it was delivered to hers. And like most breakers I have come across the part has permanent marker writing all over it to stop ppl sending naff parts back. However the writing is on the metal hedgehog part as well! Will this effect the part from working?
