Don`t know whether you`re taking the pi$$ or what ;D ;D. Below steering wheel column, release handle, door drops open, voila!!!!!! you have the fuses & relays along with the diag. port :y

No not taking the piss. I ment is it that padded bit where your knees would be? I tought this would come off but didn;t want to pull to hard

Directly under the centre of the steering wheel you`ll see a small handle, pull towards you and the "padded" cover/door will drop down :y
