Weds, on here, hates them on his 3.2 estate. Iirc. Tram lined a lot.

Which instantly puts me off obviously.  :-/

Had them on my MV6 eggbox wheels - (235/45/17)

Nowt wrong with them at all.
£105 is a bargain price for Rosso's.
Just not as good as the german rubber

I ran a set on all cornesr about 2 years ago.Gave me around 20k and for the life they were quite and pretty good value at around £375 but as said 2 years ago.

I currently have 2 on the rear axle of my Elite and they are good value for money if you do a lot of miles and don,t want to endure Michelins for ever.

Personally I agree with the German preference but from my past experience P Zero Rosso,s have served me well.

I would never put another Avon on my car though..lasted less than 15k,noise not good and they did give tramlining.

I am running a set of 235/45/17 R 94W Admiral SP712's on mine and they stick like s**t to a blanket in all weathers, do not tramline and are a really quiet and comforatble ride.
Made in China though but they must be getting something right with these beauts cos I will be having the same again even if I have to buy them online online and then get them fitted.

They are good because they are in fact the Kumho 712's but rebadged and sold by a sister company :)

Only ever found they worked on lighter cars TBH.

And I am yet to find black circles to be particularly cheap either (my locals always have better prices)

Are they the 94W or the 97W?

If thats the 94's then its not a great price, just average.

The 97's command the higher price (and seem to be what most supply).

E.g., even I can get the 94's for around 88 quid inc vat plus fitting.

Its also questionable if a 94 load rating on a loaded Omega is sufficent!

Must admit, when I'm looking at tyres for the Omega I only look at 97 rated ones... I think the additional sidewall strength is beneficial with a heavy car ;)

Sure I read somewhere the 97's are far more prone to tramlining than the 94's  :-/
