Coil Pack
« on: 07 July 2011, 08:12:24 »

Hiya fellas,

Bit more advice needed. Looking at a possible buy of another Omega V6. The guy says that its been diagnosed by garage as having a coil pack failure. Asked about the EML light and he says its NOT on. Would this be correct??
Its also got a slight oil leak from rocker cover which i thought would bring on the EML ??? Again is this correct or have i disappeared up my own??

Thanks in advance

When my DIS (coil pack?) failed I did not receive any error codes nor check light but when you pull the plug (I think it was 1-4 channel failed but 2-5 and 3-6 were working) I did not get spark on first cylinder
