cam sensor replacement, plus?
« on: 27 July 2011, 00:23:04 »

Hi, my code reader has thrown up cam sensor a couple of times in the past 2 month, so is it time to replace? How difficult is this job? Also I have a "torque converter clutch stuck off" thrown up several times, this sounds pretty bad to me  :-[ , any idea's anyone, thanks.

not bad, sure theres a guide in the maint section.  check the index via my sig link  :y

cam sensor on 2.2 does throw up some other strange codes, esp gearbox ones, so wouldnt worry about that unless it happens once you have a good cam sensor on  :y

Takes about 20 mins and I had 3 or 4 weird gearbox codes when one of mine cam sensors went wonky.
