have a look at the blades here .... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Key-Blade-Horseshoe-Type-Fits-Loads-off-Model-/140489303228?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item20b5d0a4bc you can see a tab in the middle. Gently prise it with a smal driver & pull the fob from the key. The fob then splits in two so that one bit has the buttons on & the back has nothing. IIRC the battery is a 2032 watch type battery.

Screwdriver in slot on back of key fob, twist gently to slide fob from horseshoe:



Be careful not to lose the tiny bit of black plastic tucked in the corner of the horseshoe - it is your immobiliser transponder chip and the car won't start without it:



The two halves of the key fob now split easily to reveal the 2032 battery.  Lift it gently from its plastic holder - don't pull the battery away from the circuit board or the whole battery holder is prone to become un-soldered:
