Headlight aim
« on: 12 August 2011, 09:45:46 »

Both of my main beams (normal bulbs) appear to be very high but the dipped projector ones (HID D2S bulbs) are correct on my Elite. Any ideas anyone? ::)

what are the adjusters like? If both broken & the dip has been adjusted upwards to compensate, then main beam will be like a search light & pointing skywards.  :y

Dip lights are projector HID's (D2S bulbs) and are working with their motors as they should and are correctly aimed. The main beams are the problem and from what I can see and feel both the refectors are not loose which I thought they would be if the adusters were broken.
Only thing done was both H7 main beam bulbs were changed, the headlights were taken out to do them to make it easier while both headlights were out
Looks like I will have to take the headlights out tomorrow and have a closer look from the back. I am now wondering if those new bulbs might have been faulty (I have just bought 2 new ones from the dealership just in case) because I know for a certainty that they were located correctly in their holders.
If it wasn't for bad luck I would not have any ;D ;D :D
