aftermarket alloys

I have a set of 18" x 8 et 40 alloys with 225/40 tyres,will these be ok to fit or will there be any rubbing issues...

Why not stick 'em on and see?

I have to get 2 new tyres fitted to them 1st,they were on my partners ex's omega and have outside edge wear on 2 off them so need replacing when i can afford to

tyres aren't a good size diameter-wise. 830wrpm compared to the Omega size of 817wrpm.

regarding the wheels, must check that the offset and centre bore are ok, as well as the bolting pcd.
