EML light
« on: 15 August 2011, 20:06:40 »

Hi for a few weeks at times on first start in the morning my omega sounds and runs like its only running on 4 or 5 cylinders. After a couple of mins or a few 100 yrds its fine. However this morning the eml light came on with the same rough running, 2 mins later all is fine and light is out. Started perfect tonight with no light or any other problems. I have a long trip to brixham in it on friday and i'd rather it didn't leave me stranded on the hard shoulder, any ideas anyone? :-/

As johnnycboy says, pedal trick it and post up the results (See FAQ/Maintenence Guides on how to do this)

seems ignition related, checking coils and plugs may give an idea..

condition of sparks may say something so you can change the items positions and identify..

Each code will flash 3 times, once all codes displayed, it will stop flashing.
