I have got a Prodrive Spoiler. How do I fit it?
« on: 11 August 2011, 13:34:34 »

Hi, I recently bought a Prodrive spoiler already in the right colour for my car, although it is scratched but I will deal with that later, how do I fit it?

I want to put it on a bootlid that isn't fitted to my car yet. Hopefully this will make it easier for me.

From the factory they had a strip of body trim tape and two screws.

Which sikaflex did you use? As I have only ever known about Sikaflex 518 for caravan sealing lol

Thanks for all the info, and I am sure there are few relieved people on here that will be happy I went for the standard lip spoiler instead of the proper boot spoiler I wanted  ;D

But it was down to opportunism and money as I think my Omega looks ridiculous without a spoiler.

But I am happy with the result but I am going to get the Prodrive / Irmscher rear bumper next after I have sorted the mechanics of my baby out. And then I will change the sideskirts, and then get a front bumper with headlight washers on it.
