Powerflex Bushes ? New Wishbones ?
« on: 27 August 2011, 13:36:16 »

Hi All i have a dilemma, you see i know that am in need of some front wishbone bushes but i am a loss as to either replace with powerflex bushes or as i have seen on Ebay ie planet cars replace the whole wishbone for around about the same money.I am also having to weigh up how easy it is to do either job as i dont posses any specialist tools. Thanks Steve :-/

If the rear bush and the ball joint on the existing wishbones are sound I would put some poly bushes in. The front bushes don't last anyway, and replacing just this bush will be an easier task, although you'll have to hacksaw the old bush out.

If both bushes are shot, new wishbones is the only option.
