Vehiccle tax price's?

Has anyone heard of or know if the car road fund licence is to go up for car's 3.0ltr and above in April? I mean cars registared before March 2001? Or is this a mith?

I aint heard anything, I thought it was 4x4s that was going up.

Thats what I thought. So I should be safe then. Phew I thought I would need to spend my months wages on car tax. :'(

its funny cause my 2.2 omega is registered in 2000 and i pay £190 a year, my dads 2.2 is registered in 2001 and he pays £225  ;D ;D

No Pete, there isn't a tax on 4x4's. This was how it was reported on the BBC, lies as ususal. The increased road tax was and is levied on cars based on their CO2 emissions. Most 4x4's fall into this bracket but then again so do most Omegas.  :(

4x4's and high performance cars like porsche, lambo's, ferrari's etc. I believe

I just paid £225 for the 2.6, 2003, hope it dont go up a big jump.

Cannot remember the Co2 emissions for the 2.6, i must look in the book, thought it was around the 182
