Windscreen to Scuttle seal
« on: 17 September 2011, 17:41:20 »

Noticed that the one on the V6 isn't secure in the centre. Any ideas how to force it to click in firmly without resorting to screen smashing methods?

There us no need for goo. Remove scuttle and push the seal back on, it clips on to the screen edge in such a way that needs the scuttle off to do it. As I recall.

It will be letting rain water in and onto the coils pacs, so might be worth some investigation there too. Expect miss fire on 246 bank if it's a v engine.

Once re seated it will be fine with no leaks ime.
