Inside and out I love the way my minifacelift looks, not so sure about the facelifts though :)

Had pre-facelft and facelift and they both look good, however, prefer the exterior on the facelifts, coded trims etc., and prefer the leather door cards on the pre-facelft rather than the ones on the facelift :y

Omegas have a universal appeal. I've never met anyone who didn't like the way they looked.
What they shy away from is the (deserved or undeserved) reputation for unreliability and............erm.........thr  type of people that they perceive drive them. ;)

Incidentally, I thought that my old pre-facelift looker smarter than my current facelift, which is a bit 'bland' and has less character in the design... but still a good-looking car IMO!

i prefer the back end, wheels, mirrors, mouldings and seats of the facelift and the front end and interior (less seats) of the pre facelift

would make an interesting combo.........

I think most of it is badge snobbery, I drive the prefacelift, I like the external look of the facelift better than mine but find the facelift interior horrible. So I spend most time inside the car, that is where I want the best looking bits.
Never had anyone tell me my Omega is ugly though. The wife says it is to big, so I parked it next to a new Mondeo the other day and she finally said "oh it's not that big is it" I nearly died of embarrasement in the car park.

First omega (minifacelift) was luverly ....  pride & joy  :)

Second omega (facelift with a few bits) absolutely fandabidosey, a dream machine, and I haven't stopped grinning like an idiot for a week .. :)

So what does this prove ....  ?

1. I'm an idiot
2. I'm well happy
3. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
4. If we all liked the same the world would be a boring place.
5. I'm still an idiot... but the one with the big grin...

pretty much ditto......  although I have nothing at all against the seats in my elite...  could maybe, just maybe,  do with more lateral support, but they're not supposed to be sports seats... so hardly a fault....  besides , I'm a fat bastard, and wouldn't easily fit if they were recaro-esque.
