OEM Headlights!
« on: 31 March 2008, 13:01:42 »

Chaps,

I've found a pair of new old stock replacement projector headlamps for sale for £95 the pair (not vauxhall). Is this a good price? Are they any good? Apparently you have to change over the electric adjusters from your existing headlights, is this doable/easy? Thanks for any help.

Well, I've bitten the bullet and bought them, hopefully I've done the right thing :-/ I must say they do look sparkly :) Hopefully now I'll be able to see at night!

Electric adjusters???

The height and direction adjusters on projectors is manually adjusted...only the HID ones have electronic height adjustment...

Doesn't the Omega have adjustment next to the headlight switch so that you can alter the angle of the dangle? I must admit I can't remember either way!

They all have electric adjustment. HIDs are the only ones that control this automatically, halogens are electrically adjusted from inside car.
