The memory function on a car that has them fitted as standard extends to the door and rear view mirrors too. I reckon that might be complex :-/

It was Sassanach, he said it was a major amount of work as the base of an MV6 seat is radically different to an Elite one so his plan of just swapping the bases turned into a long haul with the welder and hacksaw!

my last elite had el/mem/seats/mirrors.
My current has recaro sports, guess which are better. However loosing the dippy mirror was a shame, 1k upgrade on td I believe. For the recaros that is.

What about facelift elite seats into a facelift CD then??? Is it likely to have any wiring or is it also a bit of a porky pig of a job?

I was chatting to FFcGary1 about this last night, he had done it in the past on a CDX.

might be worth dropping him a PM

there are indeed just 3 extra wires needed. My Elite seats work fine in the MV6 Polac.

In an extra smaller loom plug, ground and permenant live can be taken from the exisiting wiring, just a switched live is needed as an extra, which could easily come from the rear lighter socket.

So whatīs the difference between Elite and MV6 seats.

We donīt have that Elite model here in Finland.
MV6 had memory as option when bought. So could this be straight fit then??

Are you saying that there are Recaro, leather facelift seats with memory function built in as standard?

If there are I want a dark grey pair!
