face lift stereo

 :P hi all i have a omega elite on a 2000 w and tried to replave the philips head unit with a flip front dvd unit.got all the iso cables and dash facia looks prety good,all powes up fine.but no sound.wired speakers and amp outs,but no joy.any body help please..and yes i work for sky..sorry about the realy thought out username..

You need to bypass the Bose amp, and replace the door speakers with 4 ohm ones.

any idea how to bypass the amp without having to half dismantle the parcel shelf and back end.. :y

The easiest way is to replace the loom - or at least the plug - in drivers kick panel with a non bose one.

I'd remove amp anyway - it takes up a huge amount of space in the boot.

Speakers, there is limited depth, so your choices are limited.

Make sure you replace all the vauxhall speakers, as the BOSE ones are not standard and may easily blow the head unit if connected up to them.
