Not sure what you mean and I should as im EEDS eng at JLR. So give us a clue.
On Jag you have a telematics harness running between the dvd ,sat nav and stuff like that in the boot to the head unit in the front and that harness has all the infotainment connections in it :-[

In the glove box.....
I had a horrible feeling you was going to say that.  My glovebox is too small as it is  :'(

Is it a specific glovebox, different to normal?

Other option is to move to boot area.  Will that distance cause issues with audio or CAN signal (CAN already in boot, so I guess thats OK).  What sort of cable that I can get from local Craplins should I use between MIC and telematics, and telematics audio out to HU Ext In if I mount telematics in boot?

No, didn't find the chilled glovebox that useful to warrant the hassle (one of my old projects had it), and because I keep sunglasses in glovebox, when you went to wear them, they fogged straight up.

Sorry about my answer yesterday but I was in muppet mode.
If you need wires i.e. screened and or twisted pair (braded) let me know what lengths you want and I will have a look for as we keep some spare lengths for reworks
