ccrt 700 ilumination.

Been offered bose ccrt 700 by a forum member. Illumination not working though. How easy is it to sort out. Thanks.

can either be a shorted track or wiring problem...

If its the ribbon cable from board to front pcb, easy enough to replace.

if like mine its a duf track, just a case of closing the circuit up with some precise soldering.

Was hoping it might be something simple like a  bulb or led. Ive got an old standerd ccrt 700 so might be able to swap bits over

if your swapping bits, just replace the whole front panel (if the lights all work on the standard one)

If the standard CCRT700 you have works fine though, instead of going to the trouble of swapping bits just to get Bose, why not just Tech2 the current one to enable bose on that once all the wiring and amp is in place??

Lights work fine on mine. Getting bose one at a good price. Probably works out cheaper than tech 2 plus petrol to take it plus the phone works on it. Only problem is doesnt light up.
