Needs programming via Tech2 to the display and the vehicle.

thanks for that, but why should it need that now, it was fine, and what does that do? does this mean a trip to Vauxhell dealer?
also, it does not beep on radio or cd changer

If you update your profile, with vehicle details and location, you may find that others nearby are able to assist.

strange one this, the 2 units as far as i know, which aint much it has to be said, do have to be paired but if not paired for what ever reason will not work at all.
I would not bother with a dealer, not for a second, TheBOY will be along in a minute, hell sort you out no doubt, he has tech2.

I am assuming you haven't changed the radio or the display?

Are you getting a Display Safe message as well as Radio Safe?

Certainly it would appear that the radio is no longer paired to the display.

Do you have a carpass?

Sadly, for resolution, you will need to go to someone who understands the security coding on these (and that will rule out your dealer I'm afraid), and who has a Tech2.

I would thoroughly recommend a trip to Marks_DTM (Nottingham), Kevin Wood (Hampshire), or myself (Northamptonshire) to resolve this issue.  Sadly, a small charge has to be made to partially cover the cost of the Tech2s (they are hugely expensive bits of kit).

Be wary about use people who do not fully understand this particular system, as they could render some components useless (New radio will cost over £1k, Colour Screen £1k, mono screen £400), so be careful!

I have made an assumption you have a NCDC2013/5 and a GID/CID

Hi
Only getting radio safe when using the single CD/Nav disc slot, nothing has been changed, it is the 2013 system (bose), it only beeps every 10 or so seconds and flashes "radio safe" but still works fine, as does the nav system. the steering wheel controls are not working, and it is the non coloured half type screen.
I hope this answers all your questions. As for charging fir the tech 2, I would not expect it for free, would be happy to pay your going rate. Yes I do have a car pass. Not sure what you mean by GID/CID

Hmmm, very starnge.

CD Changer works without error? Navigation works without error?

I would consider reseating the stereo in the cage, checking if cage is distorted when you take it out.
