heated rear window interference

the other day put on my heated rear window and had bad interference coming thought the speakers >:( this happened out of the blue , i have not being anywhere near the back of the radio or the rear shelf , the problem is now there every time i use heated rearscreen with the radio on and is pretty annoying to say the least, any info of what would be the problem would be appreciated thanks in advance

your rear window is also the antenna from the radio (i didnt know about this til i got my first omega) but i'm sure there were things you can do to ease the interference (cant remember what but someone will be along to help with that soon enough)

its gonna be worse in a relatively low signal area though

Somebody will be along shortly to probably tell you about a poor connection / joint around the rear window / aerial booster.

I`m aware of the problem, just not sure where you would physically locate the unit to fix it.

ok thanks for the reply,s will check the booster on the rear shelf and as a precausion will change it , i think i have a spare from the time i got a electric rear blind/bose set up ,come to think of it could get it fitted now while i am at it (after 6 months gathering dust out in the shed  :-[) i will see if it cures the problem thanks again for help offered
