funny connector taped behind fusebox

found this tonight behind the fusebox while fitting a new clutch pedal switch for cruise, I havent seen this in any of the other omegas I have, this is from my 95 2.5 v6, only some of the pins have wires as you will see. any ideas?

Im sure i'll be corrected if im wrong but it looks like the connector for the cd multi-changer although its normaly in the drivers kick panel.

Can't see the picture because i'm on my mobile but would guess at handsfree pre wired connector :-? :-?

Nope....its the monster connector for the multichanger and speakers etc....although being an early base model it appears not to have the speakers wired through it

its not a base model tho, its a cdx model, often wondered why there was no changer in the boot, but there was a single blaupunkt cd300 in the car when i got it.

Ill try finding the section of loom from that connector to the boot from a breakers, I have plenty spare changers and head units.

If in the correct place....this connector is bolted to the central locking ecu behind the drivers kick panel

may be worth mentioning that this 95 car does not have the rear shelf speakers or the philips amp in n/s rear wing. hence why Ican use my jvc mp3 player in it fine and not in the other cars. the empty spaces in the plug pictured above must be for the amp and rear shelf speaker wiring. interesting... another mod coming on i feel.  ;D
