I've got a CDR2005 in my 2001 CD 2.6.

With a bit of rewiring, and an adapter, not to mention a new display, and the bose amp in the boot, and the bose speakers in the door and rear shelf...

Don't think its the easiest way forward, what are you trying to achieve?

Still fancy a setup that can take a sim and can't remember the model you told me would fit!

For facelift, ccrt2008 is the equiv of prefacelift's ccrt700.  Don't think it needs too much rewiring.

NCDC2015 is the satnav option with phone.

Would you not be better off using a blue tooth setup with your existing stereo?
My factort fit CCRT700 works well enough, but I doubt I'd go to the effort of installing it all just to have a hands free phone, especially as phones have changed a lot in the last 10 years or so.

As I found out, bluetooth phones and bluetooth carkits do not always play nicely together...

Forgetting about the fact many phones can't do voice dialling over bluetooth (though newer ones are better), you have the dispute between the manufacturers different views on where the echo cancellation should reside...
