Roof Aeriel and Elite/MV6 Tailgate spoiler collide

A few weeks after I got my Elite Estate I discovered that the tailgate spoiler was in contact to a marked degree with the roof aeriel on opening. When I went to the VX dealer to order a correct replacement it would seem the correct one was installed to accommodate the NCDC2013 system with Bose.After a great deal of enquiry the answer was to get in touch with Prodrive of Banbury the maker of the spoiler for an adapter for the mast. This I finally did this afternoon and can't believe my luck,there is one in the post!!I will let you know how I get on.Thought I should let you know as I poured all over the forum and could find no mention of this fault :-/ :-/ :y

Prodrive the makers of the tailgate spoiler on my estate car, sent an aerial adapter to fit on the mast by return post, and its brilliant.It simply screws between roof baseplate, and the mast changing the aerial angle more verticle, job done.The adapter cost £9.58,and is part pdomab20005-1 Tel 01295 273355. :y :y

I got an adaptor for the aerial on my estate with the irmy spoiler, alters the angle of the arial, looks gay tho  ;D
