the soldered bulbs do come out if you get a sharp knife then look at the gaps in the side near the bottom you can see where they are fixed,cut the wire & pull out like normal, you can then fit a new bulb

i have changed the bulbs in my mv6 to blue leds it took two goes for the guy on ebay to get the right kit but when he did they came with the holders where needed i think it was this guy  260316370040      is the ebay item number . some of them are very fiddly if you have climate control and dont forget leds are polaraty dependant so check they work before you put it all back . as for gay well each to ther own "ducky" but i like them over the amber ones . the only down sides to them are yes the MID is hard to read in daylight but as i normaly use my car at night its not a problem . and at night the blue makes anything red vanish ie the 30 on the speedo and the reserve on the fuel gauge .

from memory, are they called 286?  check that out.

The large bulbs are "286" capless 2w and the warning bulbs are "509T" 1.1w or 1.2w and a couple are 2w These are the standard bulbs, not the   gay   variety
