No Speaker wiring in the parcelshelf unless the car has BOSE

will have to run speaker wires into the boot

Hi tunes, this relates to my current project

I'm just fitting some subs to my shelf, as I believe the bose system locates a pair of subs here, and I don't have room in the boot for a proper sub unit. They are 6 1/2" cut outs, just snip the blank rounds out with some tin snips and a screwdriver for leverage.

I got hold of an Impedance matcher from CPC which I'm going to wire in parallel with the rear door speaker feeds up behind the head unit. From here I was going to wire a long stereo RCA lead to the rear shelf along with power from the battery and fit an amp, which then supplies the shelf speakers.

I was planning to use the low pass switch on the amp so the speakers I fit to the shelf are reinforcing the bass section, hopefully the shelf won't vibrate too much.

Is this something similar to what you're after?
