Elite estate sat nav antenna
« on: 01 April 2009, 20:12:28 »

Hi all,

I have a 99 Elite estate with no sat nav. I however purchased a full estate satnav kit from the great loo-knee.

Question is where does the gps antenna go? I read somewhere that the roof aerial near the back contains this?

I found on the saloon it goes in the dash, but unsure on the estate!!!!!

Thanks

Andy

thought it was still dash?

As it happens it's not that critical. Try it somewhere convenient (eg, on top of satnav box!) and see how it performs.  Reposition if necessary

not really.  The metal roof may reduce signal a little, but should still work fine.

On my saloon, my Carin gps is mounted under parcelshelf carpet
