Can someone let me know that if I get this lead, will this use the built in mic and also, i have read that there is an aeriel lead in the drivers kick plate that needs extending. is this right too please. :question

I presume you are using the 06-109B with a Nokia or simillar kit? Generally the preinstalled mic won't work (Elite's usually have the amplified mic fitted for the Telematics device) so best to use the car kit supplied mic.

Yep you can buy the lead required from a VX dealer that connects to the termination point behind the drivers kick panel. the lead terminates with a FME connector suitable for Nokia kits. Will check the part number for you when i'm next at home.

Part number for the Aerial cable is 93160392 about £18 + VAT from dealer, though http://www.vauxhallgreenparts.co.uk/omegaparts.html have one (10th item from end of list) that will probably be cheaper.
