Another CD2C problem
« on: 11 June 2009, 20:52:28 »

Does anyone else have this prblem, every now and again the magazine ejects itself.
It seems to do it when the ignition has been off and turned back on, it can be ok for a week or two then it just ejects , and only when there is bugger all to listen to on the radio , it means pulling over and pushing it back in  >:(  then its ok and behaves  ::)

Probable stuck eject button on the changer or cartridge badly worn.

Hi Dave thanks for the reply  :y
I doudt its the cartridge I have more than one now and they all do it.
Rather than the eject being stuck could it be a weak switch which maybe isbeing jolted while driving ?
Do you know if this common of just something that is happening to me  ::) I only seem to have things happen to me that no one else seems to have problems with  ;)

Not exactly common, but I wouldn`t have said unheard of

The eject button should have a positive "click" to it when pressed, if not, then yes, could be worn.
