Omega 2.5td Elite { BMW Engine} won't turn over.
« on: 19 June 2009, 17:03:00 »

My omega was getting harder to start untill eventually battery went dead. Changed the oil filter and fuel filter and re-charged battery. Now it doesn't even turn over . When you turn key all warning lights come on and go off correctly but does not turn over at all. Anyone any ideas ?. Have I done something to immobiliser ?. I am a bit of a thicky when it comes to cars so any help would be appreciated .

Is the EML flashing?

What age is the car (different immobiliser systems).

Do the lights go dim when attempting to start?

Might be a loose cable on the battery or on the starter motor.
