this is a question for 'dnd' dave if he wouldn't mind.

I have just fitted a alpine ivx-c806 cd/flip screen in to my omega, the unit is in the dash main brain unit is in the boot sat next to genisis profile 4 and profile sub amps. i have a alpine navi unit to connect to the brain unit as well as a cd/mp3 changer and a dvd player, will i be able to use sat nav while listening to radio/cd/dvd for the kids or does this unit only allow 1 or the other.

i have fitted 4 cooling fans 6 inch size to cool the air in the boot around the amps and brain is that surficent to keep them cool, the air is drawn through the rear deck shelf and expelled through the stale air vents in the drivers side rear wing, fans run at 12,000 rpm.

thanks in advance dave you advise is gratefully respected

Navi:
If you are using the Ai-Net tocontrol the navigation then Multiple source control should be possible, allowing the screen to show the navi whilst audio is from CD/radio etc. However, if using the Composite RCA sockets on the rear for the Navi, then this may not be possible - depends on how the head unit is set up.

Fans sound fine to me - suggest also to put some Silica Gel packets in the void to prevent from moisture build up which can often be a problem with fan assistance.
