CCR 2006 annoying
« on: 29 July 2009, 11:55:11 »

After switching off and taking the key out the volume returns to almost nothing when switching back on, i thought it was supposed to come on at the level it was when it had been turned off last.

Also if i take the key out then put it back in straight away traffic master always comes on.

Also sometimes when switching on the CD will come on instead of the radio when it was on a radio station when switching off.

Also - - - thats it

Might be wortha quick look at teh wiring at the back to make sure that an aftermarket stereo has not been fitted at some point in its life and the live / ign swapped over or wiring altered.

If wiring OK, could be an eeprom in the radio failing, but that would not account for teh Trafficmaster fault.

Do you have to have it up near full volume to get it at good level? It may have been configured for bose, which will result in it being quiet in non-bose car.

TM - common if batt voltage seems to be down a bit.

It remembers last setting, unless that is above a certain threshold, in which case it reverts to that threshold.
