hi guys the comp in my car that displays fuel range etc lets me scroll through the items but it will not let me reset anything i took the steering shroud off and when i disconnected the plug i noticed that the plug going to the display has 5 or 6 pins but the plug on the wiper arm has only got 3 or 4 is this right or has something been changed

yes    as i said the female plug is larger than the male  if i move the plug it resets but then it wont scroll if i put it back it scrolls but wont reset

Think the other 2 are for intermittant wipe or rear wipper (Estate), could be wrong, its comon for reset button to fail or go intermittant over time.

Also the Stalks are different in design between PF and FL, but not sure if thier compatable, has it been changed?
