Well it must have one hell of a lot of insulation then as the core is just over 8mm, lol, I just had a look, its about 16mm with the insulation, it will still go through the grommet on the drivers side

Translates:
He says he knows what he is doing, and has the makings of a very serious full on competition system.
 :D

Please keep us posted with progress on that one. There are not many on this forum who will understand what you are doing, and I think that some pictures as you go along would generate some very good interest and a major talking point.

On a personal and professional note, if you need any help or assistance, give me a yell - I have a lot of experience of this. Biggest I`ve helped with so far was 64x12" in the Pioneer Transit.

Yes, I know Kam very well - used to live down the road from me, and Ian Pinder has been over to my place as well on a few occasions over the years !

Say hi to them from me if you see them  :y

Not sure how long you`ve been on the scene, but if you are familiar with the LOUD! Association a good few years back, I was heavily involved with that from day one with Sid Jervis.

I`ve been competing since 1992, and after breaking many records (and windscreens), stopped around 2001 ish and spent more time on the technical sides of things and demo / show cars rather than out and out grunt.
